Answer: First of all, THANK YOU! I take that as a compliment because these women are not models. These women are extraordinary, but they are regular women. They are career women, moms, grandmothers, wives, philanthropists, yogis, artists, musicians, lawyers, and entrepreneurs. And just like you, at one point they looked at the photos on my website and thought I don’t know that mine will turn out that good.

I’m here to tell you that I will transform the way you see yourself. I don't toot my horn a whole lot, but I am good at this. I know women. I’ve heard it all. I honor it. I know women so well, that I know exactly what they will not like in photos as well as what they will love. I know how to pose all types of women to look their best. I know my camera equipment better than I know the curls on my head. Now, that’s saying a lot. :)

What that says is that I can create beautiful images of any woman. You don't have to know what you are doing; all you have to do is show up. It is my job to guide you, and I will direct you every step of the way; from helping you prepare for your photoshoot with wardrobe tips and try-on sessions; to guiding every inch of your body through different poses so that you look your absolute best and come out looking like, well a model.

Answer: Yes, I can make you look amazing. It’s important to understand that Photography is an illusion and it can distort features if not angled properly. You almost always need someone to guide you. It's not your job to be 'photogenic' or 'good in front of a camera’. It's my job to guide you through your entire photo shoot and to show you the most beautiful photos you have ever seen of yourself. Honestly, being photogenic is not a thing. All that means is that someone is comfortable in front of the camera. These sessions are like having a conversation with a friend while also taking gorgeous images. That’s how at ease I put you and in the end, this experience will change the way you see yourself.

Answer: The Photoshoot session fee is $675. That includes: an initial discovery call, pre-shoot wardrobe + design consultation, professional hair and makeup on set, a fully guided photoshoot, professional retouching of images, one image is included. Also included is a guided ordering session to help you decide what to buy.

Individually images start at $400.

Collections start at $2,500 and go up from there. The smallest collection has 10 images.

What you spend is entirely up to you; some clients will spend $675 and some clients spend $5000. There is no minimum purchase required. You only buy the images you love.

Answer: Yes, I accept all forms of payment and including all major credit cards.

Answer: Yes, absolutely! I do offer interest-free payment plans for up to 6 months on the final purchase. If you choose to do so at your ordering session.

We also offer pre-payment plans if you want to pay for a collection in advance. You will get $500 off the total when you purchase in advance.

Pre-payment Example: You know you want the whole experience and the baseline collection of 10 image. That total would be $3175 (session fee + collection price). When purchasing in advance of your session, the total would come to $2675. We take $500 off for paying in advance because that’s how much we appreciate the pre-payment.

Answer:

1) To start the booking process, complete the contact form.

2) Once the form is received, I will reach out to schedule a call to chat. That call should take 15 minutes.

3.)During our call, we will get acquainted, and discuss your vision and all you are hoping to achieve with our shoot. Once I have an understanding of your needs, I will go over our process, pricing, and the collections that are available. At this point, if you are a YES we will start the booking process.

4.) The Booking Process requires:

• Selecting a date for the shoot.

• Paying the session fee to secure your shoot date. This must be paid within 7 days of receiving. We get lots of inquiries so in order to reserve your spot, paying your session fee must happen first.

• Sign the Shared Values Document outlining the Studio’s process and policies.

5.) Once your Shoot Date is Secured, the following happens:

• We send guides to help you get started on how to prepare for your session.

• We will send a calendar to Schedule your pre-shoot wardrobe and design consultation. This will take place on Zoom 2-4 weeks prior to your shoot date.

• Show up ready to have fun, I’ve got the rest!

Answer: You will come back to view your images 2.5-3 weeks after your photoshoot to select the images you want to purchase.

Answer: 2.5-3 weeks after your shoot we will have your Reveal appointment where you will come back to the studio to view your photos and choose which images you want to purchase. We will go through all your images and I will be there to support you and help you in narrowing down your selections. Warning: This process can be hard! But that’s why I’m here to guide you.

Answer: This is where an everyday person gets a photo shoot like a celebrity. We pamper you with professional hair and makeup and you get 3-4 outfit changes. We shoot the various outfits against different backdrops and a range of my favorite lighting scenarios based on the vibe we want to portray. I love natural light, different strobe set-ups, and a mix of strobes and natural light. You get the total celebrity experience with this session. It’s modern glam just like what you see in magazines.

Answer: Yes! I have a gorgeous Loft studio in Marathon Village centrally located in downtown Nashville. Allow me to take a moment here and gush over the hardwood floors, exposed brick, and huge industrial windows that produce gorgeous natural light. It’s basically a photographer’s dream and you will be blown away by the whole vibe because it is gorgeous and the energy is calming. The upstairs loft area is all yours to change and make yourself at home. We shoot downstairs. It’s AMAZING!

Answer: YES! Every shoot includes professional hair and makeup by my incredible team of artists. They are all certified and have a high professional standard. This is a collaboration. We can create anything from the most natural "no makeup" look to full glam. It's totally up to you! My girls also stay on set so you can change your look up if you desire.

Answer: Absolutely! One of my specialties is personal branding for professionals. We first meet to discuss your business, your annual marketing plan, and how we create images for you to use in your plan. We also discuss where your brand is being represented and what you want people to think and feel when they see an image of you. We also want to understand the various platforms where your images are being represented. Each session comes with professional hair and makeup and 3-4 outfit changes. This gives your brand a variety of images to use throughout your marketing year on socials, websites, materials, trade publications, and so on. Let’s plan something epic together!

If you only want a quick headshot, check the promotions page. We currently have one day a month where we take 30-minute headshot sessions for individuals that only want that.

Answer: Yes! I love the empowerment these sessions provide women albeit all my sessions offer that. :) You can have part portrait and part boudoir or all boudoir for your session. Boudoir involves a certain level of undress (either lingerie, loungewear, other intimate apparel, or nothing at all.) These images tend to be a little more raw, real, and candid, although we do pose you throughout the whole shoot. Like all of my sessions, this is meant to embrace a woman's sexuality, independence, femininity, and badassness.

Answer: Yes! With 3-4 outfit changes you can get personal branding images, contemporary glam images, sexy images, or casual images. You can even bring your most cherished relationships - mother/daughter, girl’s day out, family, your partner. It doesn’t cost extra to add people unless we are adding someone that is getting hair and makeup and that does have a small additional fee. This is your session and we customize based on your needs and desires. The reason that adding people doesn’t cost extra is because you only purchase what you want, need, and love.

Answer: We shoot Tuesday-Friday. We are closed on the weekends so that we can have quality time with friends and family.

Answer: The beauty of being a JHP client is, all of these questions are answered in COMPLETE detail for you in the Prep guides which are emailed to you shortly after booking your session. This will cover exactly how you should prepare your face, body, and mind for your photo shoot, as well as a complete list of resources for beauty appointments and wardrobe for your photo shoot! We also offer wardrobe consultations and try-on sessions as part of the session fee. So that you can fully prepare and be as relaxed as possible walking into your shoot. Hopefully, no question will remain unanswered. I pride myself on offering a photo shoot EXPERIENCE to my clients...so expect a very informed process that involves a lot more instruction than just showing up to a shoot and being done with it. We want to help put your mind at ease so you can enjoy this experience.

Answer: This is about celebrating you and I want you to look like the best version of yourself on your best day. Our editing is minimal. We like to keep it natural. I rely mostly on my strategic poses and angles to play down "problem" areas that concern you. My rule of thumb is, if it’s permanent, it stays. Many women ask about the retouching of stretch marks and wrinkles. While we firmly believe that your stretch marks and wrinkles are a part of your story and therefore beautiful, we also understand many women’s aversion to their own. Our standard skin smoothing process will fade the appearance of stretch marks and wrinkles. My post-processing techniques are more focused on contrast, skin smoothing, sharpening, creative color choices or creating black and white images rather than body morphing. I will always correct anything that you mention you want to be corrected or anything that I think you would not like.

We WILL edit out blemishes/skin flaws, whiten teeth and brighten eyes, and fix wispy hair.

Answer: The short answer is that you get prints and the corresponding digital files of what you choose to purchase at the ordering session. So, if we show you 40 images and you choose 10 of those images to purchase, then you will get the selected 10 in both print form and digital form. You will receive the digital files as soon as everything is paid in full and we then order your product and work on getting everything ready for you. When your product is ready, you can either come back and pick it up or we can mail it to you.

You only buy what you love and you make these decisions when you see the images at the Reveal and Ordering session which occurs 2-3 weeks after your shoot. I also help you narrow it down.

We also offer a range of wall art as products, if you want art for your walls.

I believe prints and wall art complete the whole experience with gorgeous artwork. Prints serve as a true archive of images.

I have a firm belief that Photography is evidence we exist in this world; tomorrow is not guaranteed. When something happens to us or a disaster hits, photographs of our loved ones are the first thing we go looking for. It is our legacy. Photographs outlive us and get passed down in our families.

And, because prints last forever, it’s important to me for my clients to exist in print too.

With the JHP experience, you get your favorite portraits printed in the highest quality protected in a beautiful leather box handmade in Italy, and you’ll receive the corresponding digital files.

Note: for personal branding sessions, you get only digital files because this session is for business purposes only; there is no need for a corresponding print.

Answer: All of my physical products are handmade in Italy.

My collections come with matted prints stored in a box handmade in Italy and made of Italian leather. This product is capable of turning a box of pictures into a frame where subjects can be changed at will because the top of the box is non-scratch glass so that the top image can be displayed. Each box is handmade by a skilled craftsmen and is enriched by high-quality materials, such as authentic Italian leather.

*The corresponding digital files are included with every purchase.
